Every restoration and preservation project, big or small, starts with an evaluation of the object and a consultation with the customer concerning the possibilities and wishes with regard to the preservation. This is followed by a preservation proposal. This proposal describes the state of the object and incurred damage. Based on this, the various options with regard to treatment are set out and the costs are estimated. If the customer approves the proposal, an agreement is reached about the date by which the object must be ready. If desired, the client can be kept up-to-date throughout the preservation process and clients are welcome to visit to see how the preservation process is proceeding. The preservation is recorded in writing and with photographs (digital).
